Who says you can't catch bass in January? Not me!
I took Jimmy Houston's tips from my interview earlier this month and applied them to one of my favorite fishing holes - and low and behold... we caught fish! Respectable fish too. 4lbs (with me in the G3 hat) and my buddy Rich (With Sophie the Fishin' Dog) caught a nice 3+ pounder. At the end of the day, 12 fish were caught - and 2 fisherman were STOKED!
Conditions: Rain/Cloudy/light wind
Water: 48 to 49 degrees
Lures: Brush Hogs, Grubs, Gulp Minnows.
